Richard Capezzali

Bio

Richard Capezzali is partner and co-founder of Revolve Capital Group. In the late 80’s Richard created the first distance education company that utilized the Internet to both acquire students and to deliver education. The National Institute for Paralegal Arts and Sciences (NIPAS) was acquired by a public company in 1991 and Richard ran that until he repurchased it in 1994. In 1999, he sold NIPAS to Kaplan, Inc, a subsidiary of The Washington Post and served as SVP of Kaplan Higher Education from 1999 to 2006, where he was responsible for both marketing and sales. By 1996, Kaplan University was enrolling over 50K students a year and was the second-largest proprietary education institution in the US. Richard also was responsible for the launch and success of the nation’s first online law school, Concord Law which became the nation’s premier online law school and still operates today. In 2011 Richard created The Addiction Advisor, the nation’s largest addiction lead generation business in the US. TAA generated hundreds of thousands of addiction inquiries each month and served thousands of treatment centers across the US. Richard also served on the board of Digital Media Solutions, (NYSE: DMS). DMS is now a public company with a valuation of greater than one billion.
